HOW CAN I TURN OFF WINDOWS 8 CHARMBAR Follow this procedure to turn off Windows8 charmbar. Ther are: Open Registry Editor Press windows logo key + R to launch RUN dialog box. Type regedit and press Enter Find Immersiveshell HKEYCURRENTUSER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\ Change EdgeUI value EdgeUI Now select "EdgeUI" key and in right-side pane, create a new DWORD DisableCharmsHint and set its value to 1.
